The Incredible Hulk is one of the strongest and scariest comics creatures. The green monster is an absolute beast, his brute strength & power can even dominate the strongest superheroes and villains. The Marvel monster has defeated some of the strongest heroes in the Marvel Universe. But there are few Marvel characters who have even given the green monster a run for his money. So, let’s talk about the Marvel characters Hulk has never defeated in hand to hand combat.
Marvel Characters Hulk has never Defeated in Hand to Hand Combat
Thanos
Thanos’ name shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. Thanos is one of the most deadly and celebrated villains of the marvel Universe. It’s incredibly tough for even the Incredible Hulk to stand against the supervillain. Be it the Marvel Comics or the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Hulk has never defeated Thanos in a one to one hand combat. Whenever the two have faced each other, Hulk has been on the receiving end.
Hawkeye
The ace archer may come as a big surprise for many. But the fact can’t be denied that the Incredible Hulk has never defeated the master archer “Hawkeye” in a face off. Hawkeye aka Clint Barton once shot Hulk’s alter ego ‘Bruce Banner’ in the head. The two Avengers members haven’t had a proper one to one combat till now. But there are high chances that the green monster will mutilate the master archers, if he goes on a one on one brawl with Barton.
Zeus
Superheroes do have godly powers but defeating the Gods is no joke, even for a mighty and strong character like the Hulk. The King of Mount Olympus is depicted as a supremely powerful character in the marvel Comics. Defeating him in a one to one hand combat appears to be a far fetched dream for Marvel’s Green Monster.
Doctor Doom
Doctor Victor Von Doom is one of the most intelligent supervillains of Marvel Comics. Doctor Doom has an incredible amount of wealth and the supervillain also possesses supreme knowledge. This Marvel villain can out think any superhero. He is also a polymath, scientist and an inventor. The deadly doctor had also invented several doomsday machines and robots. The Hulk is yet to defeat Doctor Victor Von Doom in a one to one combat.
Galactus
Galactus is another powerful Marvel character. Many often refer to Galactus as the mortal man of Marvel Comics. The mortal man is a cosmic entity who consumes planets to sustain his life force. The Hulk has no match to the cosmic character powers. It would be foolish to expect the Hulk defeating Galactus in one on one war.
Professor X
Charles Francis Xavier aka Professor X is the main man behind the mutant forces. Professor X is a master of telepathy. The Marvel character is known for his intelligence and mind games. A fight between the Hulk and Professor X, would be a war between immense mental strength and brute physical strength. It’s difficult to choose a winner as it will depend on the situation and mode of fight.
Vulcan
Vulcan is also part of the almost never ending list of X-Men ‘Summers brother’. The mutant has some extraordinary powers. The Omega-level mutant possesses the ability to psionically manipulate, control, and absorb vast amounts of energy. Apart from this has also showcased abilities like Cyclops’ optic blasts and magical energy. Vulcan’s powers seems to be too overwhelming for the green monster.
Scarlet Witch
Scarlet Witch is an extremely powerful character who has defeated many biggies of the Marvel Universe. Her powers have only grown over the years while the green monster is on a constant decline. The two haven’t faced each other in a straight up clash. But it seems very unlikely the Hulk would be able to defeat the peak version of Scarlet Witch in straight up combat.
The Juggernaut
Cain Marko aka ‘Juggernaut’ seems to be a perfect competitor for the Hulk. Once a regular ordinary man, Marko is empowered by a gem which belongs to the deity Cyttorak. Because of the gem the ordinary man has transformed into ‘The Judgement’. The Juggernaut is an extremely powerful creature with great durability and stamina. The Marvel character also possesses a helmet which saves him from any mental attacks. Because of his mental & physical strength, the hulk hasn’t been able to defeat him in any one on one combat. In comics (Juggernaut 2022 #2) hulk and Juggernaut did hand to hand combat in which hulk almost knocked Juggernaut down but eventually lost the fight.
