Odd, ghostly events appear to continue afterwards. People discover them shockingly intoxicating, unbearably beautiful, and mysteriously dangerous.

Presently, after ten years, Iris Hollow is doing everything she can to fit in and graduate high school on schedule. But, when her older sister, Gray, disappears suddenly and without a trace. Leaving behind strange pieces of information regarding what may have occurred. Iris and Vivi are left to follow her last couple of days. They aren’t the only ones searching for her, however. As they brush against the supernatural they understand that the story they’ve been told about their past is twisty and the world that returned them apparently safe ten years ago, might just be calling them back home.

House of Hollow is a twisty dark Mystery novel that centered equally around beautiful veneers and the rot underneath. This includes the sisters that this book is based on. The book’s portrayal of Gray’s fashion line really fits this book very well. Hollow’s couture has been depicted as a fantasy meeting a bad dream inside a fever dream.

All through the novel, you invest less time connecting with the sisters and subsequently more time attempting to figure out exactly what the hell is going on…and it’s fitting that way. “These sisters are as much a secret to themselves as they are to the world, so in a way, we as the reader are only along for the unnerving excursion.”
