The story totally hooked me immediately and there was the ideal equilibrium of information and mystery. We realize things are not actually as they appear yet we do not actually have the foggiest idea why and I did not even hazard a guess. Typically, I would think about each conceivable unexpected development. This story had me so immersed that I did not stop to consider everything. I just flew through the pages.
