Superheroes From Marvel Comics who can easily defeat Thor: Few can compete with Thor in terms of power. Among the most potent characters in the Marvel Universe, the God of Thunder often beats up some of the most formidable villains. This does not imply that he is invincible, though. In truth, he has suffered some injuries himself, including shattered bones. He has always returned, tougher than ever and frequently with a significant point to make. Many heroes are capable of defeating Thor. The only remaining issue is whether or not they could pull it off while keeping the big guy down.

Hercules

Although Thor and Hercules have clashed in the past, they are normally very close friends and wouldn’t engage in combat now. But if they did, their raw physical strength is equal. Each possesses a weapon that is almost indestructible, and they all possess some kind of magic. It might, in theory, result in a deadlock. It boils down to full-on combat without the opportunity to deceive Thor or use some sort of tactical advantage. Although the impact of Hercules vs. Thor may not be as great as Batman vs. Superman or Iron Man vs. Captain America, setting brothers against brothers has a profound emotional impact, and a match of pure power between these 2 would be incredible.

Scarlet Witch

In a comic book, Red Skull replaced his own brain by stealing Professor X’s. He seeks to enlist Captain America in his anti-hero cause and utilizes his newly discovered mind-control abilities to command Thor. Soon, New York City will be under attack. After killing Wolverine, the Norse God turns his attention to Havok. Rescue is provided by the Scarlet Witch, who joins forces with Havok and repels Thor with the help of her lethal spells. Sadly, Thor is able to eliminate Havok, leaving Scarlet Witch on her own. However, she manages to conjure up additional energy and launches Thor into space for a brief period of time, allowing the heroes to reassemble.

Sentry

The very first time Thor faced the Sentry, Thor prevailed, and the Sentry was killed. But in reality, it was just because the Sentry, under the power of The Void, willfully let his guard down and pleaded with Thor to execute him before he injured any more people. In actuality, the Sentry, at full strength, probably could have defeated Thor, having effortlessly split Ares in two and matching The Hulk strike for strike. It has been established that The Sentry possesses the same strength as Molecule Man and so could defeat Thor by merely scattering the latter’s molecules. He might be able to defeat Thor without even having to raise his hand.

Hulk

Over the years, Thor and the Hulk have engaged in several battles, the first of which took place in 1963. Although their conflicts typically finish in a tie or with one of the sides leaving, there was a clear victor in the 2010 narrative “Hulk: Let the Battle Begin.” When two friends fight, Hulk usually tries to get the advantage by seizing Mjolnir, Thor’s hammer, which is practically hard to do because it requires magical strength. To crush Mjolnir against himself, Hulk manipulates Thor’s wrist in this deftly staged scenario. Actually, Thor knocks himself out, demonstrating that Hulk is the better hero.

Captain Marvel

One of Marvel’s most precious assets is Captain Marvel. Captain Marvel has more power than ever since she started to gain notoriety. She is swift, powerful, and capable of flying without the aid of her cosmic-level “Binary” abilities. Captain Marvel can also absorb and re-direct energy. She would need that last talent to overcome Thor. Thor can produce and project enormous amounts of force with his hammer, but energy weapons can still hurt him. Since Captain Marvel can harness an infinite amount of energy, her best shot is to get Thor to exert as much strength as he can before waiting until she has adequate energy to launch a destructive single blow that would render Thor helpless, making her a clear contender to defeat him.

Ares

The Greek God of War, who supports Hades in his battle with the forces of good, has been an adversary of the Avengers. However, once he fled Olympus and settled down to work as a worker on Earth, he was enlisted in the Avengers with the promise that they would double his pay. Ares respects and admires Thor, but he also relishes the opportunity to engage in the largest conflicts possible. Due to his role as the God of War and his many ages of experience, Ares frequently analyses situations to choose the best possible course of action. He would act swiftly to identify a weakness and take advantage of it in a conflict with Thor. Ares is among the few heroes having the natural ability to accomplish this feat without using deception.

Doctor Strange

When Mjolnir was broken and its inherent magics were lost, Doctor Strange was able to repair it with the help of a spell, demonstrating that his magic is compatible with Thor’s. It would be necessary for Thor and Strange to engage in combat on the astral dimension. Thor’s powers can be taken away by Strange, who can construct any illusion present and make the fight brief despite its size. Strange still possesses the capacity to summon physical forces, therefore if the battle were to take place in reality, he could bind Thor with the Crimson Bands of Cytorrak and possibly keep him there long enough for him to be dealt with by a more powerful spell. By disengaging Thor from Mjolnir, Strange has the best opportunity of making a threat to Thor. He might be able to defeat Thor by simply sending him to a realm out of which there was little chance of escape.

Phoenix Five

The 2012 film “Avengers vs. X-Men” was about an odd incident in that numerous X-Men were affected. The X-Men and Avengers argued about how to neutralize Phoenix’s abilities as she advanced swiftly toward Earth. Phoenix is one of the universe’s most potent entities. The X-Men wanted to use her skills to aid mutants, while The Avengers preferred her to stay away from Earth. Phoenix is ultimately destroyed by Iron Man, and five X-Men absorb her skills. Thor is repeatedly vanquished by the 5 new Phoenix hosts over the course of 12 issues: Colossus, Namor, Cyclops, Magik, and Emma Frost. Colossus even manages to knock Mjolnir out of Thor’s hands at one point, demonstrating the strength of Phoenix and why it should not be trifled with.

Red Hulk

General Thunderbolt Ross, a longtime foe of Bruce Banner or Hulk, was transformed into Red Hulk by cosmic and gamma rays. Thor’s thunderbolt from Mjolnir surprises Red Hulk in one of his early confrontations, but he quickly defeats Odinson. The Red Hulk exclaims “I’ve studied you, Thor”, before launching the battle into outer space. Mjolnir is taken under the control of Red Hulk, who then utilizes it to fly to a different planet in zero gravity. He kicks away Thor’s Mjolnir and slams him to the ground, preventing him from leaving the lonely, dismal planet. That round was defiantly won by Red Hulk, and Thor vowed to exact revenge.

Ghost Rider

Iron Man is under a chokehold put on by Ghost Rider while Tigra, Thor, Angel, and Captain America attempt to help their ally. The Avengers show up to look for Ghost Rider after he attacks Angel and his lover in the desert without warning. Iron Man assists Tigra and Captain America as Ghost Rider imprisons them in a cave and strikes them with his hellfire. Unfortunately, Thor and Iron Man are both overpowered, and Ghost Rider defeated Thor by using his own Mjolnir. When Angel finally calmed Ghost Rider down and transform him back into Johnny Blaze, the battle is finally over, but not before the damage has already been done.
