Three years ago, the melting of arctic permafrost released a pathogen that made a small percentage of people undergo a kind of transformation known as Hollowing. Slowly the impacted ones became intolerant of normal food, only human flesh will help them sustain themselves. The ones who went without flesh became feral and turned to their close ones. Scientists managed to make a synthetic version of human meat which caused humanity to return to normal, though with fear. However, the plot starts from here.

She will not leave Alejandra till she follows her mother and grandmother into the darkness. But, Alejandra has inherited the pain along with strength from her foremothers.

Maeve shifts from her usual doings and tries a new persona inspired by American Psycho.

Journalist Laura Warren is mid-flight to Los Angeles when she learns that the series she is about to report is a remake of a curse horror flick. The horror flick she starred in and has been running away from it ever since. She played the role of Tammy Manners in The Guesthouse as a child actor. The little girl Tammy can tell people how the Needle Man would murder them. This big break of Laura was her last as the film became infamous due to the mysterious death of eight cast and crew members. To move on from the negative media exposure, Laura changed her accent, hair, and even name and moved across the Atlantic Ocean. And, history repeats itself.
