Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania – 17 February 2023
In addition to being the first MCU movie to be set in Phase 5 of the MCU, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will also serve as the official start of Marvel’s 2023. As Marvel Studios advances even further into this upcoming wave of big-screen narrative, fans will grow quite acquainted with Jonathan Major’s Kang the Conqueror, the antagonist that Paul Rudd’s diminutive hero will face in this threequel.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – 5 May 2023
The third film of Marvel’s cosmic series has seen some difficulties. James Gunn, the film’s writer and director, was dismissed and then recently rehired by Disney. Gunn expressed his gratitude for all the encouragement on Twitter. Chukwudi Iwuji will play The High Evolutionary in the third film of the series, and he made the revelation at Comic-Con while dressed as him. A trailer was shown off at Comic-Con, but it won’t be made available online as the VFX weren’t yet ready for the general public. Another announcement made at Comic-Con was that Maria Bakalova from Borat 2 will play Cosmo the Space Dog, a character that appeared in both Guardians of the Galaxy films but was silent the entire time.
The Marvels – 28 July 2023
With the release of The Marvels in July 2023, a costumed body-swapping tale involving Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan will be set up. This MCU epic has already suffered from postponements, switching release dates with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania after being pushed out of 2022 due to the postponement of Black Panther 2. Even more recently, new merchandise unveiled a glimpse of the all-female superhero trio geared for battle in the hotly anticipated Captain Marvel sequel.
Captain America: New World Order – 3 May 2024
Sam Wilson will make his big-screen debut in Captain America: New World Order, which will be released in theatres in early May 2024. After Sam assumed the role of Captain America in Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Tim Blake Nelson’s The Leader in New World Order will see the veteran MCU hero face his first significant threat. Harrison Ford will make his MCU debut in New World Order as a recast General Thunderbolt Ross, taking over for the tragically deceased William Hurt in the role, in which he might even now be the President of the United States.
Thunderbolts – 26 July 2024
Thunderbolts, the MCU’s lone Phase 5 big-screen team-up, will hit theatres everywhere on July 26, 2024. In the movie, a team of Marvel superheroes, led by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, will include Bucky Barnes, Yelena Belova, and others. According to reports, the Thunderbolts will face off against a “conflicted and strong enemy” who has been identified as “an evil Superman.” According to some reports, the studio may even be eyeing a well-known performer such as Ryan Gosling for the Sentry role.
Blade – 6 September 2024
One of the films that have been delayed recently by Marvel Studios is Blade. The movie has been put on hold following the resignation of director Bassam Tariq while the script is revised by Yann Demange, the filmmaker’s replacement, with a new author Michael Starrbury. Originally scheduled to release around Halloween 2023, Mahershala Ali’s vampire-hunting quest has been postponed as Marvel works to make everything right behind the scenes.
Deadpool 3 – 8 November 2024
According to reports, the movie known as Deadpool 3 is currently labeled as Untitled Deadpool & Wolverine Film and is scheduled to hit theatres in November 2024. This third installment has been in development for a while now, ever since Disney acquired the rights to Deadpool from 20th Century Fox. Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds with a Mouth will pair up in the action comedy, marking the character’s MCU debut. The Fantastic Four as well as other Fox characters may also be involved, according to speculations.
Fantastic Four – 14 February 2025
The Fantastic Four, directed by Matt Shakman, is scheduled to debut in theatres and start Phase 6 of the MCU. Although Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness hinted at Marvel’s First Family, this will be their first standalone MCU feature. Fantastic Four, which was originally scheduled to premiere in November 2024, will now make its debut on February 14, 2025. There have even been rumors of a Silver Surfer prequel Disney+ special that will air before then.
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty – 2 May 2025
Originally scheduled to begin a duology of Marvel team-up films in 2025, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will no longer serve as the first film in that series. On May 2, 2025, Kang the Conqueror faces off against Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, fans will be cramming into theatres all over the world for the fifth Avengers movie. Kang Dynasty’s director is Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ Destin Daniel Cretton, while Jeff Loveness is the movie’s writer. However, there isn’t much information available at this time concerning the project.
Avengers: Secret Wars – 1 May 2026
On May 1, 2026, Avengers: Secret Wars will have the honor of concluding both the Multiverse Saga and Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fans anticipate an Endgame-sized iconic in Secret Wars, which will ostensibly adopt one of the most cherished multiversal storylines in Marvel Comics history, but thanks to recent delays, Marvel Studios has enough time to make everything correct for Avengers 6. Michael Waldron, who wrote the scripts for Loki and Doctor Strange 2, has been picked to write the screenplay for the blockbuster ensemble, despite the fact that the director’s chair has not yet been filled.
