Mythology podcasts are experiencing unprecedented growth on Spotify, transforming from niche content into mainstream entertainment that captivates millions of listeners worldwide. This cultural phenomenon—aptly captured in the surge of interest around “Why Mythological Podcasts Are Exploding on Spotify”—reflects a deeper shift in how modern audiences, particularly Gen Z, seek meaning, connection, and ancient wisdom in an increasingly digital world. Much like rediscovering DC’s Most Overlooked Hero, listeners are finding new relevance in old tales, bridging the gap between timeless myths and today’s fast-paced culture.

The Staggering Numbers Behind the Boom

The podcasting industry stands at an inflection point. The global podcasting market has surged in size over the past few years and continues to accelerate, creating fertile ground for specialized content. This wider expansion is enabling mythology-focused shows to reach much larger audiences than before, especially across mobile-first markets.

In India, mythology and spirituality podcasts have witnessed dramatic growth among younger listeners, with year-over-year increases that outpace many mainstream genres. These gains challenge the assumption that youth audiences only prefer contemporary pop culture topics and highlight a renewed appetite for depth, meaning, and heritage.

India has also emerged as a top global podcast market with tens of millions of regular listeners, and projections indicate continued rapid adoption. Regional language content now commands a major share of listening time, with Hindi and other vernacular languages helping mythology reach diverse communities across the country. This expansion of non-English content has been a key enabler for mythology’s rise on Spotify, as audiences discover shows aligned to their cultural and linguistic context.

Gen Z Leads the Mythological Renaissance

Generation Z drives the mythology podcast explosion with surprising intensity. A significant share of 18–24-year-olds in India now listen to podcasts weekly, and their behavior is active rather than passive: they seek shows that offer perspective, values, and personal growth. For many, mythology offers philosophical grounding without rigidity, and storytelling that feels both ancient and immediate.

The COVID-19 lockdown served as a cultural catalyst. During the 2020 re-telecast of beloved epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata on television, record-breaking viewership rekindled national conversations about myth and heritage. That renewed interest flowed into on-demand audio afterward, where podcasts offered flexible, personal ways to continue exploring epics, folk traditions, and spiritual ideas. Gen Z, raised on mobile media, effectively carried that momentum onto Spotify and similar platforms.

Young listeners also find that mythic narratives answer contemporary questions—about work, anxiety, purpose, identity, and resilience. Teachings associated with texts like the Bhagavad Gita, for instance, align with a generation seeking nonjudgmental frameworks for living well, without requiring a formal religious commitment. Podcasts translate these ideas into everyday language and habits, making them accessible on commutes, workouts, and study breaks.

Why Mythology Resonates in the Modern Age

Mental health and spiritual wellness

In a climate of information overload, mythology provides a slower, reflective mode of engagement. Listeners use these stories to process emotions, explore archetypes, and reframe challenges.

Myth-based episodes often address universal dilemmas: duty versus desire, fate versus free will, and the cost of heroism—helping listeners contextualize stress, setbacks, and ethical choices.

The format offers a friendly entry point to philosophy and spirituality for those who prefer guidance and narrative over doctrine or dense texts.

Cultural identity and heritage connection

Mythology podcasts reconnect younger audiences with family stories, regional folklore, and national epics, especially in multilingual households where ancestral languages or traditions may have faded.

Hosts frequently weave modern analogies into ancient narratives, creating bridges between timeless parables and contemporary life—work, relationships, technology, and social issues.

This “living heritage” approach resonates with diaspora listeners as well, who use podcasts to recover lineage stories at their own pace.

The perfect medium for mythological storytelling

Audio storytelling mirrors oral tradition, the original medium for myths, where cadence, pause, and performance bring characters and cosmologies to life.

The narrative format excels for multi-part epics, origin cycles, pantheon profiles, and thematic arcs, sustaining suspense and deepening engagement over time.

Without visual demands, podcasts invite the imagination to co-create the scenes—making the experience intimate, portable, and uniquely personal.

Accessibility Drives Adoption

Podcasts collapse barriers to entry. Instead of confronting dense translations or specialized scholarship, a listener can press play and absorb a story during daily routines. That simplicity is decisive in mobile-first markets, where affordable data, widespread smartphones, and on-the-go lifestyles define media habits.

Mythology podcasts also thrive because they fit multitasking: listeners can cook, commute, lift, or jog while exploring a saga or parable. The low-friction experience turns occasional curiosity into a sustained habit. As recommendation systems surface related series and episodes, a casual listener becomes a dedicated follower of entire epic cycles or thematic deep dives.

Popular Mythology Podcasts Leading the Charge

Greek and Roman mythology

Conversational, research-informed shows present Greek myths with modern sensibilities—often integrating feminist readings, literary analysis, and humor. These programs balance accessibility with rigor and invite reappraisal of well-known tales like Medusa, Persephone, or Odysseus.

Long-running series broaden beyond Greece to Rome and adjacent Mediterranean traditions, highlighting syncretism, origins, and the evolution of deities and motifs across cultures.

Indian mythology

Serialized Mahabharata and Ramayana retellings break monumental epics into 15–30 minute episodes, ideal for daily listening. Hosts use cliffhangers and character spotlights to keep momentum while clarifying lineage, politics, and ethics.

Anthology formats mix Panchatantra fables, Jataka tales, and regional folklore, introducing moral puzzles, trickster archetypes, and local deities often missing from mainstream syllabi.

Cross-cultural and comparative shows

High-production anthologies stage myths from multiple continents, with voice actors, soundscapes, and scholarly context. These series emphasize the universal patterns—creation, flood, trickster, hero’s journey—while honoring cultural specifics.

Comparative episodes reveal how similar motifs travel: serpent slayers, descent to the underworld, sacred trees, and cosmic eggs, fostering cross-cultural literacy.

The Pandemic Accelerated Growth

Lockdowns initially disrupted commute-based listening but quickly reshaped habits; home routines absorbed podcasts into walks, chores, and workouts. Meanwhile, mainstream mythological TV re-airings created an ambient national conversation that primed audiences to explore deeper and broader through on-demand audio afterward. As hybrid work settled in, flexible listening remained, locking in higher baseline consumption for narrative and reflective genres such as mythology and spirituality.

The Economics of Mythology Podcasts

Mythology podcasts benefit from multiple monetization paths:

Listener support: memberships, donations, and bonus-episode subscriptions from tightly engaged audiences who value consistency and depth.

Branded segments and sponsorships: category-aligned partners in education, wellness, books, culture, language learning, and productivity find high-fit placements in these shows.

Educational and institutional partnerships: curriculum-aligned series and classroom-friendly episodes create licensing and collaboration opportunities with schools and cultural organizations.

Ancillary products and services: transcripts, study guides, live shows, workshops, and author deals extend revenue beyond the RSS feed.

Because mythology audiences are highly engaged and intentional, they often deliver strong completion rates and word-of-mouth, which compensates for niche scale and attracts long-term sponsors who prefer affinity over mass impressions.

Why Mythological Podcasts Are Exploding on Spotify

Content Diversification and Educational Value

Today’s mythology podcasts move beyond retellings:

Analysis and context: episodes unpack multiple versions of a story, surface regional variants, and discuss how myths evolve with political and social change.

Interdisciplinary synthesis: creators connect myths to psychology, ecology, ethics, and creative practice, showing how archetypes inform modern mental health, leadership, and storytelling craft.

Classroom utility: educators use episodes to introduce comparative mythology, narrative structure, rhetoric, and cultural history, with many creators providing guides, timelines, and glossaries.

Looking Forward: Sustained Growth Ahead

Several forces will sustain and amplify this rise:

Expanding market and investment: continued growth in podcasting encourages platforms to promote narrative-first, evergreen content, where mythology shines.

Gen Z’s spiritual curiosity: younger audiences integrate mindfulness, yoga, and reflective practices into daily life and prefer guidance conveyed through stories rather than prescriptions.

Better discovery and personalization: improved recommendation engines and multilingual tagging will match listeners to specific pantheons, formats, and episode lengths they love.

Regional language expansion: more Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, and other language series will unlock large new audiences while preserving local idioms, humor, and cadence.

Conclusion

Mythology podcasts are exploding on Spotify because they meet fundamental human needs: meaning, belonging, and narrative coherence. They reconnect people to heritage, translate timeless wisdom into modern life, and fit neatly into fragmented schedules. The oral tradition finds a natural home in audio, and the narrative format turns ancient material into serialized, bingeable journeys.

For creators, this moment offers a rare blend of cultural purpose and economic viability: build engaged communities, collaborate with educators and cultural bodies, and craft evergreen catalogs that compound over time. For listeners, these shows are practical portals to ancient insight—useful, humane, and portable.

As long as people seek stories that illuminate who we are and how to live, mythology podcasts will continue to thrive—and on Spotify, they now have the scale, tools, and audience appetite to do so for years to come.

“Ruthless Vows” by Rebecca Ross, published on December 26, 2023, concludes the duology that began with “Divine Rivals” in a manner that is nothing short of breathtaking. Rebecca Ross has not just written a sequel; she’s crafted a masterpiece that intertwines the threads of magic, war, and divinity in the world of Oath, leaving readers mesmerized by its complexity and depth.

The narrative picks up seamlessly from where “Divine Rivals” left off, plunging the reader back into the lives of Iris Winnow and Roman as they navigate the aftermath of war and their burgeoning relationship. Ross has a unique talent for making her characters leap off the page. Iris, in particular, stands as a testament to strength and resilience, her love for Roman providing a beacon of hope amidst chaos. Roman, on the other hand, is depicted with a depth that is rare and compelling. His loyalty and struggle are palpable, making him a character that stays with you long after the book is closed.

The introduction of new perspectives, particularly the prologue, adds a fresh dimension to the tale. The gods, Dacre and Enva, play a more pronounced role, enriching the story with their divine machinations. While some may find Enva’s character predictable, Dacre’s villainous charm is undeniably captivating, providing a stark contrast to the protagonists’ struggle for love and peace.

Ruthless Vows: by Rebecca Ross

Amazon

The romance between Iris and Roman is the pulsating heart of this novel. It’s a whirlwind of angst, yearning, and sacrifice that Ross portrays with an almost poetic quality. The letters, the mutual pining, and the moments of tenderness amidst danger are crafted so vividly that one can’t help but feel a part of their journey. However, it’s worth noting that the focus on the broader fantasy elements does slightly overshadow their story, leaving some readers longing for more of the intimate moments that made “Divine Rivals” so enchanting.

While “Ruthless Vows” excels in many areas, it’s not without its critiques. Some readers have expressed disappointment over the pacing and the separation of Iris and Roman for much of the book. The absence of their interactions, which were a highlight in the first book, is keenly felt. Furthermore, the introduction of new elements like the ‘graveyard’ and the portrayal of the gods’ war have left some desiring a more cohesive and focused narrative.

Despite these points, it’s undeniable that Ross’s lyrical prose and the way she weaves emotion and imagery together make “Ruthless Vows” a standout piece. The ending, especially, is a crescendo of action, emotion, and revelation that will leave readers both shattered and satisfied. The hope for a spin-off focusing on Attie speaks volumes of the attachment readers have developed with the characters and the world Ross has created.

In conclusion, “Ruthless Vows” is a beautifully crafted finale to a duology that will resonate with fans of fantasy and romance alike. While it might not have hit the mark for everyone, its strengths in character development, world-building, and emotional depth are undeniable. As we turn the last page, we’re left with a sense of loss, not just for the characters we’ve grown to love but for the end of a story that was, in many ways, a breath-taking journey.

“In “Bright Young Women,” Jessica Knoll offers readers an intensely gripping tale that draws inspiration from the real-life crimes of Ted Bundy. The narrative masterfully shuttles between two protagonists – Pamela Schumacher, the sorority president at Florida State University’s Tallahassee campus, who becomes the sole witness to an unspeakable act of violence, and Tina Cannon, a determined woman who connects the dots between the tragedy in Florida and her friend Ruth Wachowsky’s mysterious disappearance in Seattle.
Knoll’s prowess in character development shines bright in this novel. Where her previous works showcased a penchant for twisty psychological plots, “Bright Young Women” focuses on the depth of the characters, creating a rich tapestry of emotion, trauma, and resilience. While the story unfolds in the haunting backdrop of 1978, its themes remain poignantly relevant, especially in its portrayal of women caught in the wake of devastating events, their tenacity, and their quest for justice.

An ingenious touch is the reframing of Ted Bundy’s narrative. While the infamous killer was once referred to as a ‘bright young man’, Knoll redirects the spotlight onto the women, both the victims and the survivors. The decision to refer to Bundy only as ‘the defendant’ underscores the book’s commitment to centering the women’s Stories over his.

Moving away from her previous psychological thrillers, Knoll’s “Bright Young Women” is a testament to her versatility as a writer. The story is both heart-breaking and empowering, reminding us of the strength of sisterhood and the unyielding spirit of women in the face of adversity. A thought-provoking, compelling read that is bound to leave a lasting impressions.

The fourth book in Richard Osman’s Thursday Murder Club series “The Last Devil to Die” starts with a real shocker: a surprising death that catapults us straight into an engrossing storyline full of shady characters ranging from drug traffickers to antiquities merchants. Oh, and let’s not forget a painfully obvious love scam that targets a newcomer to the group. The Last Devil to Die doesn’t skimp on unexpected twists and turns, keeping you glued to the pages as you try to solve the central mystery.

Police officers Chris and Donna want to help but are kept at a distance by their bosses. Still, they can’t resist doing some sneaky investigations on their own.

The main characters all have their own things going on. Ibrahim is still seeing his therapist, who is actually a prisoner. Joyce becomes more interesting and surprising. Ron, unfortunately, is kind of left out this time due to a silly fight with his new girlfriend, Pauline.

Elizabeth, the heart of the series, has some tough personal choices to make, which affect everyone.

What truly elevates this book, though, are the characters we’ve all grown to love. Joyce really shines in this one, proving she’s more than just a lovable old lady—she’s got some serious investigative chops. Ibrahim opens up in a poignant way, giving us a glimpse into his past that adds new layers to his character.

The book isn’t just about solving the murder. It’s really about friendships and relationships and how they change over time. The ending leaves you hanging with questions, making you eager for the next book in the series. A must-read!

I’m thrilled to share my thoughts on Stephen King’s latest foray into the crime genre—Holly. If you’re a fan of his Bill Hodges Trilogy, you’re in for a treat because Holly Gibney takes center stage this time. Trust me, you won’t be able to put this book down; I devoured it in just two days!

While the novel steers clear of the paranormal elements King is famous for, it doesn’t lack in suspense or darkness. Holly investigates a series of unsettling serial killings, and it’s the very absence of supernatural evil that makes the story so chilling—this time, humans are the monsters.

Holly: By Stephen King

Amazon

Fans got a glimpse of Holly’s solo investigative prowess in IF IT BLEEDS, and she doesn’t disappoint here, either. This time, she’s navigating a missing persons case during a pandemic. The novel really dives into her character, and it’s fascinating to witness how she deals with the situation.

If you’ve been skeptical about Holly’s place in King’s universe, this book might change your mind. She’s layered, nuanced, and downright compelling. The story itself, devoid of any supernatural factors, leans into the grim realities of human evil. It even conjured memories of Dexter’s recent reboot in its portrayal of villainy.

Now, if you’re after King’s signature supernatural horror, you won’t find it here. But don’t let that dissuade you. Holly is a gripping read, showcasing King’s talent for dialogue and character development. Plus, the ending is actually solid, wrapping up the narrative in a satisfying manner.

So, whether you’re a long-time King devotee or new to his work, Holly deserves a spot on your reading list. It’s a compelling, unsettling story that proves King is a master regardless of the genre he chooses to write.

I just finished reading “Happiness Falls: By Angie Kin”, and wow, what a rollercoaster. The book is centered around Mia and her family, who are dealing with the sudden disappearance of their dad. Let me tell you, it’s not just some run-of-the-mill mystery novel; it’s an eye-opener into the complexities of family dynamics and coping with crises.

Happiness Falls: By Angie Kim

Amazon

The story brilliantly shines a light on Eugene, Mia’s younger brother who has Autism and Angelman syndrome. This kid can’t speak, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have anything to say. He was the last one with their dad, and you can’t help but wonder what he knows but can’t express.

Now, talking about Mia—the girl’s a genius. I mean, reading her thoughts is like attending a masterclass in, well, life. She’s all over the place, but in a good way. She’ll have you taking mental detours with her fascinating tangents and footnotes, but trust me, it all comes together, adding layers to the narrative.

Kim, the author, definitely did her homework and poured her soul into this piece. Even though Mia sometimes sounded too brainy for me, it felt like I was getting schooled in the best possible way.

While I found the pacing inconsistent at times, largely due to Mia’s verbose and academic narrative style, Happiness Falls is still a captivating read. It delves deep into complex issues such as ableism and racism, while also exploring language and the essence of happiness. If you’re in the market for a Mystery-thriller that offers more than just surface-level thrills, this is a book you’ll want to pick up.

In “Good Bad Girl,” Alice Feeney takes us on a narrative journey through an intricately interwoven tapestry of lives embroiled in both new and decades-old mysteries. Think of it as a slow-cooked stew, where every ingredient added is a character oozing out its unique flavor. Frankly, Feeney’s reputation as the ‘Queen of the Twisty Twist’ is no mere hyperbole—this novel is a masterclass in bait-and-switch, taking its time to draw you into the labyrinth only to leave you absolutely gobsmacked by its revelations.

Good Bad Girl: By Alice Feeney

Amazon

Feeney centers her novel around four women, each teetering on the tightrope that is the dichotomy of good and bad, particularly in the context of mother-daughter relationships. The story starts on Mother’s Day, twenty years after a baby is stolen. Fast-forward to the present, we follow Frankie, a solitary prison librarian whose child has gone missing, and Edith, an octogenarian forcibly uprooted to a care home. The intergenerational dynamics come into sharper focus through Patience, an 18-year-old nursing home employee and Edith’s reluctant ally, and Clio, Edith’s estranged daughter. What binds them? A series of secrets and crimes, including a recent murder and an abduction from years ago. And DCI Charlotte Chapman is the whip-smart detective on the case who needs to unravel how all these characters interlock.

Feeney doesn’t just tell a tale; she paints a psychological tableau. Her writing captures the raw, sometimes dark aspects of motherhood—especially poignant in her treatment of postpartum depression and the layers of complexity in mother-daughter relationships. Feeney captures the emotional authenticity so deftly that the pages seem to almost whisper the quotes, compelling you to read and reread lines as they resonate on a deeply emotional level.

This is not just a story of crimes; it’s a tale of moral ambiguity, where every character makes you question the very notion of what it means to be good or bad. It’s a remarkable narrative of red herrings, where each revelation offers both clarity and obfuscation. As for the ending? Well, suffice it to say, it manages to be both poignant and satisfying—eliciting a bittersweet cocktail of emotions.

The nuanced character development isn’t just a side dish; it’s the main course here. Feeney writes her characters with such flesh-and-blood realism that you may find yourself, against all odds, feeling a tug of empathy even for those who’ve made the direst of choices.

If you’re someone who’s too impatient for a slow burn, brace yourself. “Good Bad Girl” asks for your patience but rewards you with a narrative payload that’s an emotional and intellectual jackpot. So, sit back and let Feeney pull the rug from under you, just when you think you’ve got it all figured out. Because, trust me, you don’t.

Lisa Jewell continues to dominate the British domestic thrillers with her latest offering, “None of This is True.” With an uncanny ability to weave creepy and unexpected twists, Jewell crafts a story that grips the heart and captivates the mind. The novel commences with a chance encounter between two women, both celebrating their forty-fifth birthdays in the same pub. As they chat in the restroom, they discover a shared connection: not only were they born on the same day, but also in the same hospital.

Alix is a renowned podcaster who champions women reinventing themselves, living in her dream home with a seemingly perfect family. Josie, on the other hand, is a twice-married mother of two, discontent with her life and her unfulfilled aspirations.

But as Alix’s marriage begins to falter due to her husband’s irresponsible behavior, she finds herself yearning for a diversion from her troubles. Enter Josie, who becomes a relentless presence in Alix’s life, appearing around her children’s school and offering up her tragic life story. Alix, intrigued by this distraction, begins to use Josie’s compelling narrative to engage her audience.

Yet Josie’s intentions become more insidious, as she starts to invade Alix’s life, critiquing her marriage, and even lurking around her home. As Josie reveals increasingly disturbing details during the podcast recording, Alix becomes alarmed. Is Josie truly a victim of years of abuse and suffering? Can Alix play a role in liberating her?

Or, in welcoming Josie into her life, has Alix inadvertently brought danger to her own doorstep? When Josie appears at her home in the dead of night, Alix begins to understand that things are spiraling out of control, and not everything is as it appears.

This novel is a haunting experience that lingers in the mind, causing shivers each time the characters and key events are recalled. “None of This is True” is a breath-taking tale.

“Silver Nitrate” by Silvia Moreno-Garcia is an exquisitely penned novel that combines elements of occultism, mystery, and old Mexican horror into an intricate tapestry that delights and intrigues. Set against the backdrop of Mexico City in 1993, the novel’s slow-burn, character-driven narrative distinguishes it more as literary fiction than a conventional horror story. Those seeking a gore-fueled, fast-paced ride may be disappointed, but for readers who appreciate nuanced storytelling and layered characterization, it offers a rich and satisfying experience.

Amazon

The story follows Montserrat, a determined sound editor wrestling with her diminishing role in the film industry, and her best friend Tristan, a former soap actor haunted by an accident that changed his life. When Tristan encounters Abel Urueta, a mysterious former cult horror director, their lives take a dark and twisted turn as they are drawn into a world of magic and evil that they must battle to undo.

What truly sets “Silver Nitrate” apart is Moreno-Garcia’s focus on character development. Montserrat and Tristan’s decades-long friendship is explored with raw honesty and emotional depth, capturing the complexities of unrequited love, loyalty, and personal growth. There were moments when their decisions were frustrating, yet this only added to their believability and humanity. The supporting cast of wild characters further enriches the narrative, creating a vivid and unique universe.

The novel’s setting during Christmastime in Mexico City contributes a surreal and atmospheric tone. As the protagonists traverse streets adorned with festive lights, they are simultaneously pursued by malevolent forces. This juxtaposition of cheerfulness and darkness intensifies the slow-building tension, making the journey all the more captivating.

Moreno-Garcia masterfully weaves Mexican cinematic history into the plot, providing an enticing glimpse into the world of old Mexican horror movies. Her writing style is both elegant and evocative, drawing the reader into the grim and mystical world she has created.

One might argue that the novel’s pace could deter some, especially those expecting outright horror. However, the slow unraveling of the plot adds to the mystique, culminating in a thought-provoking climax that resonates long after the last page is turned.

In conclusion, “Silver Nitrate” is a brilliantly crafted novel that offers more than mere chills and thrills. With its compelling characters, atmospheric setting, and rich thematic exploration, it is a rewarding read for those willing to delve into its literary depths. It’s a sophisticated blend of Mystery, occultism, and character-driven storytelling that fans of Moreno-Garcia and those new to her work will find immensely satisfying. It’s a haunting tale that lingers, like the subtlest of specters, in the corners of the mind.

‘One of Us is Back’ by Karen M. McManus brilliantly wraps up the thrilling ‘One of Us is Lying’ series. The novel not only reunites the compelling characters from ‘One of Us is Lying’ and ‘One of Us is Next,’ but it also provides a gratifying resolution for each one’s story arc. In the captivating world of Bayview High, this third installment seamlessly builds on the first book’s tale of four students becoming murder suspects and the sequel’s riveting mystery of a deadly truth or dare game.

Amazon

The narrative is filled with unexpected twists that will keep you on the edge of your seat, turning page after page to discover the next revelation. It may use traditional character tropes, such as clueless detectives and teenagers with wits beyond their years, but it does so exceptionally well, injecting freshness into this popular young adult series. ‘One of Us is Back’ delivers a fun and engaging climax to an already intriguing series, leaving the reader thoroughly satisfied.”

Plot and Character Development in “One of Us Is Back”

In “One of Us is Back,” we’re privy to the perspectives of two key members from the original Bayview Four – Nate McCauley and Addy Prentiss – as well as a new addition to the Bayview fold, Phoebe Lawton. Admittedly, I harbored initial reservations about this choice, as my preferences lean more toward Maeve and Bronwyn Rojas. However, by the book’s conclusion, I was utterly enamored.

For starters, the character development is profound and thoughtfully executed. From the first page to the last, we bear witness to the characters’ emotional evolution and their journey towards grappling with their feelings, family dynamics, and past traumas. Moreover, the narrative structure, specifically the choice of POV, underpins the storyline brilliantly.

The fondness I developed for these characters – Nate, in particular – was significant. I was entirely invested in their narrative arc, and my admiration for them grew exponentially by the end. I found the “found family” trope deployed in the book to be particularly engaging – aptly named “the Bayview Crew” or “the Murder Club.” It was a delightful melange of romantic partners, friends, and relatives, who together formed an unconventional family.

The interactions between the characters were quite entertaining, as were the glimpses we get into the romantic couples’ dynamics. Although Bronwyn and Nate remained my top pick, other pairings came dangerously close to unseating them from their pedestal.
