What If Shazam Got His Powers From The Justice League Heroes
Shazam is one of the strongest superheroes of the DC Comics. Billy transforms into a superhero when he evokes the word “Shazam!”. He gains his powers from the ancient gods and mythological figures Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles, and Mercury. But what if Shazam got his powers from the Justice League Heroes instead of the ancient gods and mythical figures. Shazam got his powers from 6 ancient mythical figures. So, here we will be replacing those six mythical figures with 6 Justice League Superheroes.
What if Shazam got his Powers from the Justice League Heroes
Batman for Wisdom, Will and Judicious Decision Making
Historically Shazam has Super intelligence which he got from King Solomon (the wise king of Israel who was known for his wisdom). His superhuman intelligence enables him to solve complex problems quickly and easily. If Shazam got his powers from the Justice League Heroes instead of the ancient gods and mythical figures, then he wouldn’t be at a loss, at least in this case. As Batman is also known for his wisdom and decision making skills. With wisdom Billy would have also got great detective skills and will power from the vigilante. Billy won’t mind adding a few more batches of honor (power and ability) in his arsenal.
Flash for Speed
Flash is known to be one of the fastest beings in the Universe. The Flash could grant Billy the power of extreme lightning speed. However, Shazam can move at incredible speeds, allowing him to outrun even the fastest vehicles. This power comes from Mercury, the Roman god of speed and messenger of the gods. But getting the Flash’s speed will be like an upgrade for Shazam. Striking thunderbolts while moving faster than light would be a great site to witness.
Aquaman for Control Over Water and Aquatic Life
Getting access to Aquaman’s powers will be the real deal breaker for Shazam. As water is something that isn’t fully in his control. Getting control of water and aquatic life will be of great benefit for Billy. He will be enabled in breathing underwater. And will also cover up his small weakness or let’s say loophole in his supreme “Shazam” powers.
Wonder Woman for Endurance, Stamina and Courage
The Amazonian is considered to be one of the strongest female superheroes in the DC Universe. Her powers can provide endurance, stamina and courage to Billy. In addition will also enhance his combat skills. Wonder Woman single handedly fulfills the needs of almost both Achilles and Hercules who conventionally grant Shazam with the powers of endurance, stamina & courage, and superhuman strength.
Cyborg for Advanced Technologies & Warfare
If Billy is missing something in his traditional arsenal of superpowers and abilities, it has to be advanced technologies. If he gets access to Cyborg’s powers and abilities, he will have access to some of the most advanced warfare technologies. Not sure that Shazam will be in a mood to let go of his ancient magical powers for modern advanced warfare technologies. The switch may not suit him, but seeing Shazam doing Cyborg stuff would be a unique experience.
Superman for Immense Physical Strength and Other Super Powers
The last on the list is Superman. Superman has an array of Godly powers from immense unmatchable strength, to flying. The man literally destroys any opponent, thing or place with his Godly Powers. Noone would mind getting access to Superman’s Powers. It won’t be that bad an idea for Billy to give up Zeus granted powers for Superman’s powers, at least in the DC Universe (where no being can match the power & potential of Superman).
Here we have replaced Shazam’s 6 powers which are derived from his name and are granted by 6 different gods and mythical figures. So, what do you think: which amongst the two forms of Shazam will be the more powerful and deadly superhero; The Justice League one or the conventional ancient myth one?
