Shaktimaan is perhaps the most iconic Indian superhero character. The character is from a television series in the 90’s. Shaktimaan’s role was portrayed by actor Mukesh Khanna, who also served as the producer for the show. In the series, Shaktimaan fights against evil forces and has god-like powers that he has gained through worship and meditation. His powers come from the seven chakras in his body, and he upholds the values of truthfulness and justice as he fights for humanity. He has an alter ego named Pandit Gangadhar Vidyadhar Mayadhar Omkarnath Shastri, who works as a newspaper photographer, and is virtually invulnerable. According to sources Sony is planning a major project involving Shaktimaan’s character.

Krrish is the most successful Indian superhero movie character which is portrayed by Hrithik Roshan. There have been three movies featuring Krrish, with the latest being “Krrish 3” released in 2013 and becoming a box office blockbuster. Krrish is the son of a research scientist named Rohit Mehra, who received his powers of super intelligence from an alien called ‘Jaadoo’. Krrish inherited his powers through his father’s genes, but his abilities are more refined. He has supernatural powers and superhuman strength, able to easily climb mountains and jump between skyscrapers. Krrish is a versatile superhero with no major weaknesses, except for his love for humanity and his family.

Nagraj is arguably India’s greatest comic book superhero. The character was created in the late 1980’s by Rajkumar Gupta. He made his debut in 1986 in “Nagraj GENL #14,” published by Raj Comics. In earlier editions, Nagraj’s alter ego, Mr. Raj, was a PR officer for an organization. The name “Nagraj” means “king of snakes” in Hindi, and the superhero has powers associated with snakes, including telepathy, martial arts, venomous breath, snake spit, infrared vision, a sixth sense, and the ability to shapeshift into microscopic snakes. Nagraj also has superhuman abilities and can use his powers for healing.

Super Commando Dhruva is a long-running and popular Indian comics character who made his debut in 1987 in the comic “Pratishodh Ki Jwala”. He is based in the fictional city of Rajnagar and is the founder of the government-approved crime-fighting organization Commando Force. Dhruva is known for his iconic appearance, which includes a yellow and sky blue costume, brown boots, and a utility belt with a star-shaped buckle. He has numerous superpowers, including the ability to communicate with birds and animals, expert bike riding skills, strong willpower, and masterful planning and tactical abilities. He is also an expert at disguise. Dhruva has teamed up with Nagraj on multiple occasions to save the planet and universe.

Parmanu is also a superhero character from Raj Comics, whose alter ego is Inspector Vinay. The character’s name, “Parmanu,” means “atom” in Hindi, and he made his first appearance in 1991. Parmanu has powers of atomic manipulation and size manipulation. Vinay becomes Parmanu after witnessing a group of criminals kill his classmate, and vows to avenge the death. While investigating the murder, he discovers that the killer is a senior police officer who tries to kill Vinay in order to recover the weapon. Vinay is rescued by Professor K.K. Verma, his maternal uncle, who reveals that he has created a costume that gives superpowers. Vinay dons the costume and becomes the superhero Parmanu.

G.One is a video game protagonist who comes to life in the real world, with self-learning artificial intelligence and human-like abilities. He (G.One) appears to be a mixture of Buzz Lightyear and Cyborg at first glance.

He fights against a wide range of enemies, including terrorists, drug dealers, and petty thieves.
