To Sir, with Love by Lauren Layne is a sweet, lovely story. It’s a story with funny characters, and I was unable to put this novel down. It’s a kind of fairy tale story with happy ever after vibe.

This book follows the story of Gracie and Sebastian. Gracie would do anything for her family; regardless of whether it implied requiring her own dreams to be postponed. After the loss of her dad, Gracie moves forward and takes control over the family-owned business. But, regardless of how hard she tried, nothing can change the fact that her business is not doing good. The last thing she required in her life was Sebastian. From the outside, Sebastian appears to be a ruthless businessman who simply take over businesses without even second thought. However, there is so much more than that. Sebastian has a kind heart and is attempting to do what he believes is ideal. It’s not personal. It’s simply good business, right?

To Sir, with Love hooked me from the absolute first page. Gracie and Sebastian’s story was awesome, with some serious You’ve Got Mail vibes, and I totally LOVED it! Sebastian and Gracie had a series of meetings. One may believe that destiny wanted these two together! Their connection was on the spot and their talk was out of this world. Really bad, their last experience causes them to realize they are bound to be adversaries. Gracie can’t stand Sebastian and thinks the most awful of him, however I guarantee you, she couldn’t be more off-base. Sebastian proved himself again and again.

To Sir, with Love is one of my number one reads from Lauren Layne. It’s cleverly written and engaging. The characters are fun and are not difficult to connect with. I loved Gracie and her connections with her siblings. Sebastian was really genuine and gave you every one of the feels. I liked the adversaries to lover vibe with this couple. It prompted some genuinely delicious tension and will they or will they not moments I just couldn’t get enough of.

In the end, To Sir, with Love by Lauren Layne was just the read I was looking for.
