The maid by Nita Prose is a wonderful debut book. I can’t remember reading such a well written and fantastic debut. Do you like extraordinary secrets featuring peculiar characters in uncommon settings? Assuming this is the case, The Maid by Nita Prose will be unquestionably a good fit for you!

The story revolves around Molly. She is a charming, innocent 25-year-old young lady working as a maid at a luxurious hotel in the UK. Molly was bought up by her Gran and lived with her until her Gran died. They lived a good life, adhering to a strict timetable that included watching old episodes of Columbo every night. Molly has problems understanding social signals and understanding subtext. However, she is a good maid.

Molly has few companions. One is an old man “Mr. Preston” who is a guard at the front entrance to the Grand Regency Hotel. Soon we discover that, he is actually the only individual who thinks about Molly’s well-being from heart. Molly is also friends with Rodney, a bartender at the hotel. The reader knows immediately that Rodney is a shady person, yet Molly is unaware of that. She additionally cares for “Juan Manuel” a kitchen worker, who is at present homeless, and she secretly finds him an unbooked lodging to remain in every night. At last, there is Giselle Black. Giselle is the spouse of the unpleasant Mr. Black. Mr and Mrs. Black are regular guests to the Grand Regency, and over the long run, Giselle has become close friend to Molly. She gives Molly generous tips and even trusts her about her unhappy marriage.

The main theme of The Maid by Nita Prose is the murder of Mr. Black. One day when Molly goes to clean their suite, she finds Mr. Black dead in his bed. Soon the police are looking into the issue and observing a great deal of questionable things happening at the Grand Regency. Sadly, they rapidly home in on Molly as their main suspect in the killing.

The secret of The Maid is intricate and retaining. I can’t envision a reader who won’t like Molly. Luckily, Molly has Mr. Preston and his lawyer daughter by her side since she’ll require all the assistance so she can protect her good name. I will be recommending The Maid by Nita Prose to all my friends. This book is perfect début for the author and I am looking forward to read more Books by Nita Prose.
