Mo Lopez, the producer for HPTV, hears a discussion between Hattie and her father-in-law. Mo wants to make a show regarding flipping houses at Savanah, with Hattie as the star. The show is about to be on a strict timeline and before Hattie knows it she is going to re-establish a ruin of a home. She will deal with individuals she never would have had a chat with in the past and battle with Trae, her designer co-star. Very soon Hattie is in between the affections of Trae and Mo. Her initial plan was however to stay alone after Hank’s death.

Despite all these affections, Hattie’s bad luck continues. The house she finds is about 100 years old. It is a waterfront beach house property on Tybee Island. She and her team found something that provides evidence of clues to an unsolved murder investigation. It belongs to a woman and it is missing for about seventeen years. This setback does not stop Hattie. Soon investigators are embroiled and with that, this story has a new character named Makarowicz. Makarowicz is a retired detective who is eager to conclude a murder that happened years ago.

The Homewreckers will certainly make you feel excited and anxious; all in all, it will not fail to touch your heart. This can be a good beach read with humour, romance, mystery, decade-old secrets, amazing friendships, family drama, heartbreak, a cute dog, and home renovation.
