Netflix has officially announced that One Piece Season 2 will premiere on March 10, 2026. The highly anticipated continuation of the live-action adaptation promises grander adventures, new faces, and the long-awaited arrival of several fan-favorite characters from Eiichiro Oda’s beloved manga and anime universe.
The second season picks up after the events of Season 1, which ended with Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat crew defeating Arlong and freeing the Conomi Islands. With their latest victory behind them and new bounties placed on their heads, Luffy and his companions embark on another daring adventure across the unpredictable seas in pursuit of the legendary treasure known as the “One Piece.”
One Piece follows Monkey D. Luffy, played by Iñaki Godoy, as he sets out to become the King of the Pirates. Alongside his loyal crew—Roronoa Zoro (Mackenyu), Nami (Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Romero Gibson), and Sanji (Taz Skylar)—Luffy navigates perilous waters filled with danger, wonder, and bizarre new worlds.
Season 2 will expand the journey into iconic territories from the original saga, including Loguetown, Reverse Mountain (Twin Capes), Whiskey Peak, Little Island, and the snow-covered Drum Island. Netflix has also revealed new first-look photos showcasing the striking visual design of Drum Island, hinting at the upcoming challenges awaiting the crew.

Creator Eiichiro Oda confirmed that Season 2 will introduce Tony Tony Chopper, the beloved reindeer doctor and a fan-favorite character. Executive producer Matt Owens added that Dr. Kureha will play a major role in this chapter, deepening the emotional and narrative connection to the crew’s adventures on Drum Island.
The main cast—Godoy, Rudd, Mackenyu, Romero Gibson, Skylar, Davies, and Ward—will all return for the new season. They will be joined by a long list of new actors, including Mikaela Hoover, Rigo Sanchez, Yonda Thomas, James Hiroyuki Liao, Sophia Anne Caruso, Mark Penwill, Charithra Chandran, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Katey Sagal, Daniel Lasker, Camrus Johnson, David Dastmalchian, Joe Manganiello, and Lera Abova, among others. These additions signal a richer and more expansive world as the Straw Hats venture deeper into the Grand Line.
Behind the scenes, Ian Stokes and Joe Tracz take on the roles of co-showrunners and executive producers, with Eiichiro Oda, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes, Christoph Schrewe, and Steven Maeda also serving as executive producers. The series continues its partnership with Shueisha and is produced by Tomorrow Studios, an ITV Studios partner.
With fiercer enemies, wilder seas, and the introduction of beloved new characters, One Piece Season 2 promises fans a daring and heartfelt continuation of Luffy’s quest to become the Pirate King.
