Netflix has officially revealed its 2026 movie lineup, offering fans a thrilling mix of beloved franchises, powerful performances, and fresh stories that span genres from mystery and romance to warfare and animation. Leading the slate is Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, returning as the fearless detective in Enola Holmes 3—her first major role following her battle with the Upside Down.

The third chapter in the Enola Holmes mystery series takes audiences to the sun-drenched landscapes of Malta, where Enola’s personal and professional worlds intertwine in her most complex case yet. Reuniting with Louis Partridge (House of Guinness), the film sees the young detective navigating danger and desire while unraveling a case that tests her independence. Henry Cavill, Helena Bonham Carter, Himesh Patel, and Sharon Duncan-Brewster round out the returning ensemble. The film is slated for a summer 2026 debut.

Closely following is the emotional finale to Heartstopper, the tender coming-of-age romance that captured hearts around the world. Joe Locke and Kit Connor reprise their roles as Nick and Charlie, now facing the bittersweet realities of adulthood. With Nick heading off to university and Charlie embracing his newfound independence, the pair must navigate the strain of distance and doubt while discovering whether first love can truly stand the test of time. Alongside the central duo, their friends also confront the challenges of growing up, love, and moving forward.

Beyond these flagship projects, Netflix’s 2026 schedule is packed with major releases across every genre. Tyler Perry returns with multiple projects, including Joe’s College Road Trip—a continuation of Madea’s extended family saga, releasing on February 13—and a sequel to Why Did I Get Married? later in the year, along with The Gospel of Christmas.

Fans of gritty drama can look forward to Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, the feature-length continuation of the hit series. Cillian Murphy reprises his iconic role as Tommy Shelby, who emerges from self-imposed exile in the chaos of World War II. With both his family and nation’s futures at stake, Tommy faces his inner demons in a final confrontation that could either cement or destroy his legacy. The movie debuts in select theaters on March 6 before streaming worldwide on March 20.

Rounding out the lineup, Reacher star Alan Ritchson leads War Machine, an action-packed thriller co-starring Dennis Quaid, Stephan James, and Jai Courtney, premiering March 6. Meanwhile, Sally Field joins the Netflix family with Remarkably Bright Creatures, arriving May 8—a touching tale about a widow who forms an unexpected bond with an octopus that helps her rediscover hope and joy. In animation, Swapped brings together a stellar voice cast including Michael B. Jordan, Juno Temple, Tracy Morgan, and Cedric the Entertainer in a heartfelt adventure from Skydance Animation.

With mystery, romance, action, and emotional storytelling on the horizon, Netflix’s 2026 lineup showcases the platform’s commitment to crafting cinematic experiences that resonate across audiences and continents. From returning favorites to imaginative new worlds, this year’s collection promises to make 2026 a landmark year for streaming entertainment
