Prime Video has officially locked in March 18, 2026, as the release date for Invincible Season 4 — and the superhero drama is about to reach its most dangerous chapter yet.
The adult animated hit returns with an explosive new trailer that reunites Mark Grayson with Omni-Man, while also introducing one of the most feared villains from the comics: Thragg, the ruthless ruler of the Viltrum Empire. Voiced by Lee Pace, Thragg’s arrival signals a major turning point for the series.
Season 4 will stream exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories, continuing the show’s global success.
Thragg Takes Center Stage
For longtime fans of the comics, Thragg’s debut has been years in the making. Known as the Grand Regent of the Viltrum Empire, Thragg was trained from birth to rule through strength, cruelty, and domination. His goal is simple: restore Viltrum to its former glory — no matter the cost.
But he’s not the only threat.
Season 4 also introduces two more powerful villains:
- Dinosaurus (voiced by Matthew Rhys)
- Universa (voiced by Danai Gurira)
Together, these enemies raise the stakes higher than ever before for Earth’s heroes.
A Darker Path for Mark Grayson
The new season picks up as the world is still recovering from catastrophe. A changed Mark Grayson, voiced by Steven Yeun, struggles to protect his home and the people he loves. But his choices will lead him directly into a conflict that could reshape the fate of humanity itself.
This season promises deeper emotional stakes, brutal confrontations, and moral dilemmas that push Mark to his limits.
Returning Cast and New Faces
The voice cast remains one of the show’s strongest features. Alongside Yeun, the series stars:
- Sandra Oh
- J.K. Simmons
- Gillian Jacobs
- Seth Rogen
- Walton Goggins
- Jeffrey Dean Morgan
- Jason Mantzoukas
- Zazie Beetz
- Grey DeLisle

New additions this season include Lee Pace, Matthew Rhys, and Danai Gurira, expanding the show’s already powerful ensemble.

From Comic Panels to Prime Video Powerhouse
Invincible is based on the award-winning comic series created by Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker, with contributions from Ryan Ottley. Since its debut in 2021, the series has become one of Prime Video’s most popular animated shows.
Season 3 wrapped earlier this year, and the series has already been renewed for Season 5, proving the franchise’s long-term future is secure.
The show is produced by Skybound Animation, with Kirkman serving as executive producer alongside Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and a team of longtime collaborators.
