Atlee Pine has been looking for the twin sister Mercy’s since the time she joined the FBI. Hampered by the gap in her memory brought about by the hazardous wounds got during the attack. She has battled for a long time to recall what occurred on that critical night. Having at long last gotten back to attempt to fill in a portion of the spaces she currently ends up making a beeline for New Jersey to catch up some encouraging leads identified with the newfound character of the kidnapper.

With her colleague and faithful companion, Carol Blum, next to her she is stunned to discover that her case is connected to that of military specialist John Puller through the criminal she has just barely started to chase. Together they understand the association could strike at the core of definitely more than any of them could understand alone and as more data becomes known Atlee at last arrives at a stunning acknowledgement of what happened to Mercy all those years prior.

Mr Baldacci has given a story to keep you awake long to the night. Atlee is an extraordinary character and the expansion of John Puller is an exceptionally sharp move as it gives an entire distinctive feeling of what has occurred and why. Thankfully, although many things have been clarified there is still more to come where Atlee is concerned and I will utterly be waiting in line for that.
