Cyberpunk 2077 Will Be Adapted into a Live-Action Version: Guess what, gamers? CD PROJEKT RED is diving deep into the cinematic world! They’re teaming up with the hotshots at Anonymous Content to cook up something awesome set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe. Movie or TV series? Who knows! They’re playing coy about it since everything’s still pretty fresh. They’re currently hunting for a genius screenwriter to bring this cyber-dream to life.

The dream team? Charlie Scully’s in the producer’s chair, flanked by the A-team from Anonymous Content: Garrett Kemble, David Levine, Ryan Schwartz, and Bard Dorros. The best part? The Cyberpunk 2077 squad is going to be right in the thick of it, making sure it’s as epic as the game.

First off, let’s give a big high-five to that killer anime adaptation, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. CD PROJEKT RED and Studio Trigger teamed up and got us that gem, which snagged the Anime of the Year awards from both IGN and Crunchyroll. And for the bookworms out there, Rafal Kosik dropped a novel, Cyberpunk 2077: NO_COINCIDENCE. But hey, where’s our live-action goodness?

A quick throwback: Cyberpunk 2077 hit our screens in 2020. Remember cruising around a wild dystopian California and hanging with Keanu Reeves’ Johnny Silverhand? Or the slick DLC where Idris Elba joined the party in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty? Now, will these big shots star in the upcoming live-action? No one’s spilling the beans yet, but fingers crossed!

Now, here’s an interesting piece of information for Young Adults: CD PROJEKT RED isn’t new to the Hollywood game. Remember The Witcher? Their epic game gave life to three (and soon to be four!) binge-worthy seasons on Netflix, a kickass animated film, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, and that spinoff, The Witcher: Blood Origin. If Cyberpunk 2077 catches that kind of Netflix fame, who knows? We might just get a cyber buffet of spinoffs!

Stay tuned, folks. The cyber-scoop on this live-action ride is gonna drop soon!
