Many families continue to watch it every Sunday night. For depression brought on by the conclusion of the weekend and the approaching start of a new workweek, “Sazae-san syndrome” is the accepted phrase in Japan.

Case Closed

There have been more than 1026 episodes of Case Closed over the course of 26 years. Shinichi Kudo is a smart young detective who has already helped seasoned law enforcement on significant cases with his blazingly quick assessments. As a result of their accomplishment, two crooks attack Shinichi and force-feed him an experimental poison. Shinichi’s attempts to get back into his original body are a recurring theme, however, Case Closed is mostly episodic.

Chibi Maruko-chan

With over 1,329 episodes, Chibi Maruko-chan has been on television for 27 years. Despite being a must-watch one-season anime, Chibi Maruko-chan might be more challenging to a marathon than the typical 12 to 24-episode season. It would take a little over 3 weeks to finish everything, with an episode number far into the thousands. The children’s program, which is based on one of the most well-known shoujo manga, features Momoko “Maruko” Sakura and her friends and family. Both younger fans who want something straightforward and elderly viewers who are nostalgic will enjoy it because it is charming and lively.

Superboy-Prime

Superboy from Earth-Prime was once a hero. He eventually joined other Alexander Luthor and Supermen in a “Paradise Dimension,” though, after joining the multiversal fight to defeat the Anti-Monitor. He could observe time passing outside of his realm but things inside it stayed unchanged from there. Superboy-Prime became so enraged by this that he blasted through reality and entered his present-day continuity. He built solar-powered armor modeled after the Anti- Monitor’s, and he then tried to create the ideal society by committing mass murder.

Prime was much stronger than figures from the current continuity and could easily assassinate the majority of the local heroes. When he joined the Sinestro Corps and his plot culminated in the second death of the Anti-Monitor. Superboy-Prime, a Superman who destroys entire worlds for the sake of utopia, is unquestionably the worst of the bunch.

King Hyperion

The first Superman imitation in marvel was Hyperion. The character has appeared in many different iterations, and each one has been incredibly strong. They have generally displayed courage. However, one demonstrated that Hyperion’s role as an antagonist is the most terrifying thing possible. As his realm gradually came under his control, King Hyperion utilized his enormous power to eliminate every hero who stood in his way.

King Hyperion was practically untouchable in his universe thanks to his power. In due course, he bled torrents of blood. It needed heroes from different universes to defeat him. Although King Hyperion showed his potential for danger, Hyperion has always had enormous power.

Superdoom

Superdoom is more than merely a combination of Doomsday and Superman. He’s a bad concept. Researchers Jimmy Olsen and Louis Lane from Earth-45 used mad science to create a tulpa or living mind. It was dubbed “Superman,” a plan to save the world. But the business altered the design when it decided to sell its technology to Overcorp. The ensuing “killer franchise” seized control of his planet before invading other realities to eliminate the rivalry that other Supermen stood for.

Until he met Earth-23’s President Superman, who took inspiration from Barack Obama, he had slain his counterpart on numerous worlds. Even the white nationalist Lex Luthor from that planet joined Calvin Ellis in getting stranded in Superdoom in space between universes because of the beast’s overwhelming evil aura.

Hank Henshaw

Hank Henshaw, the impostor dressed as a Terminator, is another deadly Superman. Henshaw, a well-known bad guy, took advantage of the appearance of Doomsday and Superman’s mutual destruction. When he and Mongol wrecked Coast City, he used his power to corrupt machinery with his consciousness to create a Kryptonian/cyborg form out of the DNA of the Man of Steel and attempted to tarnish Superman’s reputation through petty Armageddon.

Although the so-called Man of Tomorrow was ultimately destroyed and debunked by the real Superman and his allies, he has proven to be a tough adversary. He even enlisted in the Sinestro Corps with Superboy-Prime, which turned out horribly for him when Primey employed him as a weapon versus the Anti-Monitor.

Injustice Superman

Although Injustice is a video game advertisement, it does give a villainous Superman. The Joker sadistically gases Superman into killing Lois Lane in a plot that combines elements from various comic book Stories and the Justice League animated two-parter ’A Better World’.

In response, Superman pierces the clown’s chest with his open palm and establishes a totalitarian police state throughout the entire world. In the meantime, he doxxes Batman, kills Martian Manhunter and Shazam, turns the Justice League into his own secret police, and receives a boot in the behind from Alfred Pennyworth. Finally, he is put into a Red Sunlight-generating capsule by a still-good Superman from some other universe.

Homelander

Everyone desires to suffer for Homelander. Homelander is unquestionably the most despised wicked Superman, whether in the Comics or on television. He’s just a morally repugnant individual in every medium he’s featured in. He is a superpowered hideous child that demands everyone’s attention and adoration. He will participate in any bad deed.

Homelander has not destroyed entire worlds or killed millions of people, but he has nevertheless committed acts that make him eviler than many villainous Supermen. Homelander manipulates people’s minds and uses terror to keep them in line in addition to killing them.

Ultraman

King Hyperion shares several characteristics with Superman’s evil counterpart from Earth-3. He is a harsh tyrant who brutally governs the Crime Syndicate, his JLA. The 1964-era persona has undergone numerous changes. He was initially an alien who acquired his abilities through Kryptonite, although he has also been pictured as an astronaut of Earth who acquired them from aliens.

Ultraman is the ideal illustration of a person with all the power who is unhappy because he is caught in a poisonous love triangle with Batman-analog Owlman, Superwoman, and his Earth’s Lois Lane.  Ultraman, who is from another Earth where evil always triumphs, is constantly hunting for new things to conquer, punish, or both.

Red Son Superman

The main character of Superman: Red Son is a Superman who was nurtured by Josef Stalin. The USSR was taken over by Superman after Stalin’s death, who continued the Cold War with the US. At first, his rule was a communist utopia that was superior to Stalin’s for the average person, but it didn’t last. He continued to support policies that led to the brainwashing and imprisonment of millions of people over time.

Despite having a good heart, Superman’s time as Premiere brought a great deal of pain. His power made it all feasible, even if he rarely did get his hands dirty himself. He faked his death to put a stop to his dictatorship because it turned out to be just as awful as Stalin’s.

Bizarro

Bizarro, the first notable “bad” Superman, debuted in 1958. He’s not always portrayed as being malevolent. He’s frequently portrayed as being perplexed, mad, or just plain ignorant as Superman’s “imperfect clone.” The worldview, logic, and morals of Bizarro are all upside down. He continues to cause significant harm in spite of this. He occasionally saves people ineffectively, putting lives in peril or even taking them by trying to be like Superman.

Additionally, he is easily duped and can be convinced to kill someone by simply referring to them as his “best buddy. Rarely are characters totally good or wicked. Bizarro is at the very least a chaos agent, and occasionally he is just a murderer.

Omni-Man

With Omni-Man, Invincible tapped into clichés about the wicked Superman. Clearly modeled after Superman, the Viltrumite hero also held a dark secret. For years, Omni-Man carried out the right things: he fought against evil, oversaw the society of heroes, and even had a child. Everything was done to offer people a fictitious sense of security. By telling his kid the truth about his genuine motivation for being on Earth, to lead the Viltrumite invasion, he would show his true colors.

Overnight, Omni-Man transformed from the world’s greatest superhero to its most terrifying adversary. His vicious assault on his son revealed his true allegiances. Even while Omni-Man has shown how lethal Superman could be under other circumstances, he would eventually turn against his people.

Nine Perfect Strangers premiered on August 18, 2021. It is based on Liane Moriarty’s 2018 novel of the same name. The series is developed by David E. Kelley & John-Henry Butterworth. It stars Nicole Kidman, Michael Shannon, Melissa McCarthy, Luke Evans, and more. The story follows nine people who gather at a remote health resort. Some are here to refresh and renew their life, some are here to lose weight, and some can’t admit their reason to themselves.

Normal People

Normal People was released on Hulu on April 29, 2020. This Irish romantic psychological drama series is based on Sally Rooney’s 2018 novel of the same name. It is directed by Lenny Abrahamson and Hettie Macdonald. The series follows the relationship of Marianne Sheridan and Connell Wardon, played by Daisy Edgar Jones and Paul Mescal respectively. It follows their journey as they navigate adulthood from their final days in secondary school to their graduate years at Trinity College.

Looking for Alaska

Looking for Alaska premiered on October 18, 2019. This American teen drama TV series is based on John Green’s 2005 novel of the same name. It is created by Josh Schwartz and stars Charlie Plummer as Miles Halter and Kristine Froseth as Alaska Young. Miles Halter is done with his uneventful safe life. He heads off to Culver Creek Boarding School and now his life is anything but safe. It is all because of Alaska Young. She is clever, self-destructive, sexy, and utterly fascinating. Alaska pulls Miles into her eventful world and then nothing remains the same.

Castle Rock

Castle Rock premiered on July 25, 2018. It is based on Stephen King, his themes, settings, characters, and his fictional town of Castle Rock, Maine. The show was created by Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason. This American psychological horror TV series stars Andre Holland, Melaine Lynskey, Jane Levy, Bill Skarsgard, and more. The show was renewed for a second season in 2018 and in 2020 Hulu cancelled the series after two seasons.

The Handmaid’s Tale

The Handmaid’s Tale premiered on April 26, 2017. This American dystopian TV series is based on Margaret Atwood’s 1985 novel of the same name. The plot of the story is about dystopia following the Second American Civil War wherein totalitarian society targets fertile women, the ‘Handmaids” to child-bearing slavery. Conversation with Friends

Conversation with Friends is an Irish TV serial based on the novel of the same written published in 2017 by Sally Rooney. The series is directed by Lenny Abrahamson and Leanne Welham and stars Alison Oliver, Joe -Alwyn, Sasha Lane, Jemima Kirke, and more.  This is their debut novel of Rooney. It is about two young women who become involved with an older couple.

Shrill

Shrill premiered on March 15, 2019, on Hulu. It is an American comedy series developed by Aidy Bryant based on Lindy West’s book Shrill: Notes from a Loud Woman. The series follows Annie as the main character. She is a fat young woman who is willing to change her life, but not her body. Annie is trying to create her life as a successful journalist while dealing with a perfectionist boss, sick parents, and bad boyfriends. The world around her reminds her she is inadequate due to her weight. However, she understands her worth and acts on it.

Unfortunately Ted Bundy is referred to as a celebrity kind of Serial Killer. The Killer has got a lot of media coverage in his inertial days. He is perhaps America’s most famous and known serial killer of all time. Even post his death (execution) the killer remains to be one of the most talked about Criminals. Several documentary and series adaptations have been made on Ted Bundy. The serial killer was a necrophiles and is believed to have committed more than 30 murders. Ted Bundy mainly used to target female victims, whom he raped before murdering. And also kept their heads with him as a souvenir.

Albert Fish

Giving names to serial killers isn’t a good idea. It’s kind of glorifying their bad deeds and horrors indirectly. But unfortunately it’s fashionable and trendy to give cool, catchy names to serial killers. One such so-called popular serial killer was Albert Fish. The brutal serial killer was given multiple names like “The BoogeyMan”, “The Brooklyn Vampire”, “The Werewolf of Wysteria” and “The Gray Man”. The man was as evil and villainous as one can get, he wrote a letter to one of his victims mother. In the letter Albert Fish mentioned how he tortured the little girl before killing and also stated that how he ate the girl after chopping her into pieces.

H.H. Holmes

Next brutal serial killer on the list is  H.H. Holmes. The man was a con artist but later began to work in a pharmacy. Holmes built a building near the pharmacy, he used to use the building as a shelter or base for his atrocity. This is the reason that the building is also referred to as Murder Castle. Holmes made multiple hidden rooms in the building which he used to torture his victims before killing them. We don’t have accurate numbers of his killings as different sources provide a variety of numbers.

Jeffrey Dahmer 

Jeffrey Dahmer is another serial killer from America. It’s estimated that Jeffrey had killed more than 17 men. The serial killer used to lure victims into his apartment where he used to brutally murder his victims and kept their skulls as a souvenir. The serial killer also admitted that he used to eat the body parts of his victims. Recently in 2022 a Netflix Original TV Series was made on the serial killer ‘Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story’.

Richard Chase

Another serial killer with another weird reason for killing people. Richard Chase was American guy who has formed a perception that the Nazis had turned his blood into powder.  Chase thought that the Nazis had plated poison under his soap dish. Afraid of the consequences and death, Richard Chase started to take a bath with his victim’s blood. Case used to shoot his victims and even had sexual acts with the dead bodies of his victims. The brutal serial killer also used to eat the internal organs of children and drank their blood.

Robert Black

Robert Black is kind of a recent serial killer if compared to the others on the list. The serial killer is from The UK and used to be a van driver. The man used his vehicle and profession to commit atrocities across the city. Black mainly targeted young girls. The Van driver used to kidnap girls from isolated roads or localities. And used to throw the bodies in the outskirts of the place. Robert Black was finally caught by the police, red handed in 1990.

Joachim Kroll

Joachim Kroll is a late 60’s serial killer. He was from Germany and is considered to be one of the most brutal serial killers of all time. Kroll had committed multiple atrocities and created his terror in his times. It is estimated that the serial killer had at least eaten 13 people. Joachim Kroll was caught in 1976 and was sentenced with 9 life sentences. However, the brutal serial killer died due to a heart attack in 1991.  

Richard Ramirez

Richard Ramirez was a serial killer who created terror in hearts of people in the 80’s. Because of his killing around Los Angeles, the serial killer was given a nickname of Night Stalker. The serial killer ‘Richard Ramirez’ used to break into houses and brutally murder people. Ramirez used tools & weapons like knives, handguns, a tire iron, a hammer or a machete to brutally kill his victims. Richard Ramirez received a death sentence but instead he died of  lymphoma before he could be executed.

Javed Iqbal

Javed was a Pakistani serial killer, he was from Lahore and is considered to be one of the most brutal serial killers of all time. The man is said to have killed more than hundred children. Iqbal used to drug and sexually exploit young children, before brutally murdering them. In 1998 the man was caught but unfortunately was let off after a brief period of time. After his prison exit, the man seamlessly carried out his serial killings. Javed Iqbal even confessed that he had killed 100 children and wasn’t guilty about his killings. The Pakistani Serial Killer was sentenced to death but committed suicide before his punishment took place. 

Gilles De Rais

The last on the list but one of the first serial killers the world had witnessed (around 1430’s). Gilles De Rais is often referred to as the father of Serial Killers. Gilles was a top official in the French army and was also a wealthy man. Even having all the wealth and power, the man with a twisted physiology committed terrifying serial killings and that too of children. It is estimated that Gilles De Rais killed at least 40 children. In 1437 many naked bodies of boys were found at his estate. Gilles De Rais used to provide children with fancy clothes, food and lots of wine before brutally killing them.
