Bombshell By Sarah MacLean is the first novel in A Hell’s Belles Novel Series. It is a flawlessly written, fun book that portrays the most ideal form of friendship, long-standing yearning, and unavoidable falling in love. Battled myself through each word, all the while wanting to read everything at once and make it last just a bit more.

Our protagonist, Lady Sesily Talbot, is strong, beautiful and splendid, similar to the furiously independent and influential women in her gang of girls. Group of ladies named “The Hell’s Belles” are one who right the wrongs against other ladies. Sesily and her sisters (all currently married to rich nobility), came from humble family. Their dad a coal miner turned earl, has consistently been looked down upon by the ton. No concerns, Sesily is pleased she’s been nicknamed Sexily and is considered scandalous by the elite of society.

The solitary individual that has any effect on her however, is the American, Caleb Calhoun. Caleb is such a cinnamon roll hero! He’s an independent person, owns bars and pubs in America and Britain. Caleb has longed for Sesily since the day he met her, and she’s desired him for quite a long time. Obviously, neither knows how the other feels. She thinks he left Britain for America without even thinking about her.

Both hold some hidden secrets and the Hell’s Belles are set to discover Caleb’s, with their most up to date plan including an exceptionally hazardous viscount.

There are numerous things that are familiar from her past Books: the marginally overwritten, maybe frequent intimate scenes (however you can’t skip them since they likewise advance the plot).

There were new things as well, and I was so excited about them. I liked the name hell’s Belles. It’s a horribly clever name, but generally it’s a group of ladies who work in the shadows to bring down bad and malicious men when society decides to turn away and disregard their wrongdoings.

Bombshell By Sarah MacLean has searing chemistry, spicy-hot intimacy, and sexy banter between the two characters. I’m looking forward to her next instalment in this series.
