It’s an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Patricia Highsmith. We’re looking forward to loads of quality content and things that will give us the heebie jeebies in this film.

This movie, based on the novel ‘The Reincarnationist Papers’ by Eric Maikranz follows a schizophrenic who has hallucinations of his past life. Soon he discovers that he also has talents that he acquired in his past lives and a science fiction drama ensues. This is a high concept film that we expect great things from. Although not a lot of critics have loved it, it seems to be a film of mass appear, but we’ll just have to wait for its release to know for sure.

This is again an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Frank Herbert wherein our protagonist, Paul leads his nomadic tribe to wage a war and dominate the desert planet of Arrakis. We all love a good epic sci-fi, and this one is slated to be the first in the movie duology. Considering how much the novel was loved, we’re expecting the movie to be a hit as well, and are definitely excited about it!

This is a historical drama film set in 14th century France, this follows a legendary fight between a knight and his squire after the former accuses the latter of sleeping with his wife. This novel was originally written by Eric Jager, an its adaptation is going to roll in cinemas in October. The multifaceted Ben Affleck has written the screenplay, which is even more exciting. This one’s definitely on our radar!

One of the most interesting sounding films of 2021, this is an adaptation of Sarah gay Forden’s couture non-fiction novel of the same name. The film depicts the aftermath of the head of luxury fashion house, Maurizio Gucci’s divorce with his then wife, Patrizia, culminating in his murder. A suspenseful mystery that doubles as a documentary of Gucci’s life, this one is definitely one to watch out for. We’re surely not missing it.

William Lindsay Gresham’s iconic novel is all set to be adapted into a second feature film sharing its title, and we couldn’t be more excited about it. It’s essentially an American psychological thriller film which follows Stan Carlisle, who is an extremely cunning and manipulative carny. He ends up hooking up with his psychiatrist, Dr Lilith Ritter, who is even more dangerous than he is. From here, the film snowballs into something we’re not expecting, or so the trailer suggests. This film is one we’re definitely on the radar for, and we believe so should you!

Kristin Hannah’s historical fiction novel which chronicled the second world war through the eyes of four women was a blockbuster hit was loved by critics and readers alike. Now, it’s all set to become a movie of the same name, and we’re all geared up for it. It was actually slated for release in 2020, but pushed back due to the pandemic. In either case, it’s releasing in December and we’re stoked! The novel basically follows two sisters, Vianne and Isabelle, who live in France estranged from each other. As the Germans occupy France during WW2, we follow how their lives shape up, the struggles they go through and their resilience. The book is heartbreaking AND heartwarming, and we expect the movie to be the same, which is why it’s on this list.
