Traditionally, Battlefield games launch in the Fall, but based on Wilson’s statements, it seems improbable to expect the next Battlefield installment before Fall 2025, or even 2026. Adding to the anticipation, a job listing for a Battlefield VFX Director teased “the most realistic and exciting destruction effects in the industry,” promising a ground-breaking experience in future releases.
The Sims and Beyond: A Diverse Portfolio in Progress
EA’s roadmap extends beyond the Battlefield series. The company is also working on several other projects, including Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, Skate, and a new Sims game. However, given EA’s current release schedule, fans might not see the new Sims title until after 2025.
