Marvel movies have introduced us to some of our favourite superheroes. But the Marvel Comics Universe as seen in the movies is far from complete. Not only have many powerful characters not entered the franchise but also many people who don’t read the comics but just watch the movies don’t even know about them. So here are the 10 marvel characters we will love to see in movies and we hope that you will also like them as we do.
10 Marvel Characters We Will Love To See In Movies
Hercules
Inspired from Greek mythology, Hercules is shown as a character with extraordinary superpowers who grows up as a mortal. In the comics, the Enchantress pulls him out of his Greek world into the present day to help her avenge the avengers. This would make for a really cool plotline and is also a welcome escape from the non-mythological, regular superheroes.
Wonder Man
This is a bulky superhero, who in the comics has a brilliant story arc. He is initially a villain working against the Avengers, but eventually sacrifices his life to save them in a redemption arc. Plus, Ultron made use of his neurological power to create Vision, which makes him ultra powerful. Unfortunately, he hasn’t made it into the Marvel movies.
Moondragon
Moondragon is a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy who is raised as a psychic by her mother’s murderer’s, Thanos’ father. He is an exceptional woman with loads of superpowers, especially psychic ones, which make her unique. She definitely deserves a movie where she stars in her own limelight.
Squirrel Girl
Like Spiderman embodies the powers of a spider, the hugely popular Squirrel Girl embodies the powers of her spirit animal, the squirrel. This she has superhuman speed and vision, along with claws and a tail. It’s a huge disappointment that she hasn’t been seen in any marvel movie yet because she’s quite popular.
Amora the Enchantress
One of Thor’s most formidable enemies has never made it into the movies, and she definitely deserves the limelight. She’s an Asgardian with unlimited powers of physical strength, stamina, healing and telepathy. This combination of mental and physical prowess would be a delight to see on the big screen.
Namor
Namor’s subtitle is ‘the mariner’ and that is exactly what he is. Some argue that filmmakers haven’t introduced him because he is too similar to Aquaman, but that really isn’t the case. He is one of Marvel’s oldest mutants with incredibly close ties with Black Panther. His storyline would make Black Panther movies way more exciting and intriguing.
Silver Surfer
Ka-Zar featured in the X-Men comics, and instantly shot to fame with his exotic looks, his huge dog and unique abilities. He is a skilled hunter and attached closely to the natural world, which makes him an interesting and never-seen-before character.
Captain Britain
Although this character name is mentioned in the Endgame movie, Captain Britain does not have his own movie yet and he definitely needs one. Captain Britain gains his extraordinary prowess from the magician Merlyn, and now has all the strengths and powers of powerful superheroes. He is also a member of the illuminati which is super cool as well.
Tigra
As you can probably tell from the name, Tigra is a human-tigress hybrid with tremendous powers. Her constant struggle between her beastly and human tendencies, along with her superpowers make her an interesting character. Although she can be a little stereotypical, that usually works with film audiences. She is a character worth tapping into.
Power Man
Victor Alvarez is the alter ego of Power Man, who as you can tell is a storehouse of superhuman power. The son of Shades, this character would add a lot of diversity to the Marvel Comics Universe by bringing in an Afro-Latino aspect into it. Not only does he embody superhuman strength after drawing chi powers as a mortal but also he has martial arts powers. This would certainly be interesting to watch.
