Fantastic Mr. Fox is about a fox who has to go out and get foodstuff from three farmers (Boggis, Bunce, and Bean). The three farmers are certainly not happy with the fact that Mr. Fox is robbing them and they decide to finish him. Now, Mr. Fox has to find ways to avoid these farmers and at the same time protect his family.

The Witches is about real witches but they are wearing ordinary clothes and they look a lot like ordinary women. They live in simple houses with simple jobs. This is why it is so hard to identify the witches. The hero of the story, with the help of his grandma and friends, will expose the witches.

Matilda is an exceptional girl, very sweet by nature but according to her parents, she is nothing but a nuisance. George’s Marvellous Medicine is set in the English countryside, where George, an 8-year-old was stuck with his unpleasant grandma because grandma told him all kinds of stories that horrified George to death. After enduring it to his limit, he decided to make a special medicine and replace it with her daily medicine. The special medicine will make grandma spunky and taller than the house.

The Enormous Crocodile

The Enormous Crocodile is certain what he wants for lunch – a juicy little child. His animal friends are shocked by the news. Nonetheless, he carries on his tricks of deception, in the end bagging what he wants. To read and enjoy this book, kids might need some good reading skills or adult assistance.

The Twits

The Twits created by Dahl are a married couple and even though they are humorous, they are not too bright. Mr Twit has a long and bushy beard that has bits of apple, rotten fish and more stuck in it. Mrs. Twit used to be gorgeous when she was young but due to her repeated frightening thoughts, she became ugly. They love to play mean scams on each other. In this book there are a few instances of those tricks, it will make the readers feel light.
