Despite her initial reluctance, Amina agrees to embark on this last mission and assembles a team of her old colleagues, each with their own unique skills. Together, they set out to rescue the allegedly kidnapped granddaughter of their wealthy benefactor.
Throughout the book, the banter between the crew is witty, the stakes are high, and as the story progresses, more magical elements are introduced that make the adventure even more enchanting. While there were some sections towards the end that you may find a little confusing, the story kept her going at a steady pace.
Overall, “The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi” is a well-constructed and well-told story that introduces readers to a cast of characters that they’ll become deeply attached to. And the best News? This is just the start of the series, leaving readers eagerly anticipating what’s to come.
