Godzilla Vs Zeus: The ancient alpha predator and king of the monsters, Godzilla, faces off against the king of the Greek gods and ruler of Mount Olympus, Zeus. This epic battle unfolds in “Godzilla: Rage Across Time,” a tale that takes the legendary monster through various historical periods. The story begins in ancient Greece, where a war rages between two factions on the sea. Amidst the chaos, a colossal creature emerges from the depths, annihilating both armies – this fearsome beast is none other than Godzilla.
The Gods Receive the News
Hermes, witnessing the devastation, speeds to Mount Olympus to alert the other gods. The scene shifts to the summit, where the gods indulge in their divine privileges, seemingly detached from mortal affairs. Hermes, breathless and desperate, kneels before Zeus to relay the calamity at sea, only to be met with disdain. Zeus dismisses the mortals’ plight, seeing their suffering as a consequence of their failure to seek divine intervention.
Aphrodite and Ares find Zeus’s indifference troubling, noting that no mortals had prayed for their blessing in the ongoing conflict. Despite Aphrodite’s pleas, Zeus’s arrogance prevails. He is bitter towards humans for their waning devotion and refuses to intervene, viewing mortals as a burden.
Poseidon’s Encounter with Godzilla
Not wanting to see Aphrodite distressed, Poseidon volunteers to investigate. He arrives at the site of destruction and notices massive claw marks on the ships. Suddenly, Godzilla reemerges, striking with its colossal tail. Poseidon narrowly evades and retaliates, attempting to pierce the beast’s eye with his trident, but his attack only enrages Godzilla further. In desperation, Poseidon conjures a massive tsunami to thwart the monster.
Back on Mount Olympus, Hera, Zeus’s wife, joins the discussion. She supports Aphrodite’s view that the gods must give mortals reasons to believe in them again. Angered by the criticism, Zeus storms off with Hera, who warns that his ego will lead them to ruin. The gods sense a changing tide, but Zeus remains convinced of his superiority.
The Battle Escalates
As Godzilla swims towards Mount Olympus, the city below begins to flood. The gods hear the commotion and realize Poseidon has failed. Just then, Godzilla is struck by a bolt of lightning – Zeus has entered the fray, hurling electricity at the creature and demanding to know which god created it. Receiving no answer, he orders the gods to slay the monster.
Ares charges first, but Godzilla’s atomic breath quickly disintegrates him. With two gods fallen, Aphrodite urges Zeus to retreat, but he refuses, summoning the Hydra to battle Godzilla. The Hydra initially fares well, wounding Godzilla, but the monster bites off one of its heads, prompting two more to grow in its place. As the Hydra regenerates, Zeus continues his lightning assault from atop Olympus.
Realizing his disadvantage, Godzilla hurls the Hydra into Mount Olympus, collapsing the mountain and killing the Hydra. The destruction also decimates the gods, leaving only Zeus. Enraged and alone, Zeus intensifies his attack, but Godzilla’s relentless power overwhelms him. The surviving mortals flee as Zeus, distracted, is trampled. Summoning his remaining strength, Zeus unleashes a massive beam, finally destroying Godzilla, but at the cost of his divine power.
The Aftermath
Drained and vulnerable, Zeus acknowledges Aphrodite and Hera’s warnings. He begins to empathize with mortals and resolves to understand their struggles, shedding his arrogance. Zeus moves to Pompeii, where he records his fall and sketches Godzilla. From his window, he watches Mount Vesuvius, until one day, Godzilla emerges from the volcano, unleashing an atomic blast that triggers an eruption. The city is obliterated, and Zeus perishes, petrified by the cataclysm.
Thousands of years later, his fossilized form is discovered, a testament to the epic clash that shaped both gods and monsters.
