According to The Hollywood Reporter, a notable screening was held at AMC The Grove 14 in Los Angeles, where Smith and Lawrence surprised attendees by making a special appearance, adding to the excitement. Fans took to social media to share their thoughts, lauding the film’s action, humor, and the performances of Smith and Lawrence. ComicBook.com’s Brandon Davis expressed that the film “raised every bar” and was the “best time” he had at the movies in a while. Similarly, The Wrap’s Drew Taylor commended the directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah for their innovative direction and camerawork, and highlighted the enduring comedic rapport between Smith and Lawrence.

“Bad Boys: Ride or Die” continues the saga of Detectives Mike Lowrey (Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) as they navigate new challenges and threats in Miami. This time, the duo must clear the name of their deceased captain, who has been posthumously accused of corruption, while also confronting their own professional uncertainties.

The film features a star-studded cast including Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Núñez, and Jacob Scipio, who reprises his role as Mike’s son, Armando Aretas. Notable additions to the cast include Rhea Seehorn, Tasha Smith, Ioan Gruffudd, and Tiffany Haddish, promising a compelling ensemble for the action-packed narrative.

“Bad Boys: Ride or Die” is set to hit theaters on June 7, 2024, and if early reactions are any indication, it is poised to be a major hit, continuing the franchise’s legacy of combining high-octane action with sharp humor.
