死神低语 达西·科茨 is a cute little mystery/ghost 故事. The most amazing aspect of it is the protagonist, who is a mystery himself. This is certainly not an incredibly frightening story, yet it’s an engaging one with 奇妙 story and brilliant characters. The mystery of primary character’s memory loss, and the presence of ghosts makes it a deliciously fun and frightening read.

Besides that what I truly adored about this book is the set up. I liked how the set up was sprinkled all through the book rather than all packed into the beginning. I truly 爱 this technique since it feels naturally balanced. When you have a novel that sets up everything in the start, it can feel slowed down later. But, in this book, nothing was hurried to be set up. It is spread all through the book and it won’t ever drag. Pacing was simply on point.
